I don't know if Apple is or is not supporting Bluetooth. I do know Wintel didn't invent it. Bluetooth is a somewhat slow method for devices to interact with each other at close range. It uses low power RF. It's very cool for handhelds such as cell phones and PDA's like Palm. With it you can imagine your cell phone recording a conversation on your laptop while it's still in the briefcase, or your Palm IX retrieving data from a database on that same laptop.

MS is trying to get it working on on Windows CE devices. Windows CE - this OS is the MS's Newton - except Newton worked well.
