Voice alone may not be sufficient

G* business model based solely only the wireless inter-connectivity of voice might not be quite enough. If G* extends its capability to the "wireless internet", then the potential would really stress the imagination.

Read the following article in the current issue of the Economist,

economist.com

"After taking six months to reach 1 million subscribers,
the DoCoMo's mobile internet i-mode service is gaining new
customers at the rate of more than 25,000 a day and should
pass the 5m mark this month."

Just think what if G* offers this service globally in addition to voice?

Perhaps someone would arouse the interest of Softbank in Japan to invest in a big chunk of G* and then arrange a joint venture between G* and NTTDoCoMo, Japan's dominant mobile operator. G* subscribers and minutes usage per month will then surpass all budgeted levels.
