These arguments have been hashed out ad nauseam, I'm not sure of the value of rehearsing them again here.

If your young correspondent wants to do DD on this stock he has 38000 historical posts which give the whole story. If he's really a FUDmonger than you can argue till you are blue in the face and achieve nothing.

I would save your breath!

Look at the performance specs for office applications, RDRAM offers marginal to virtually no improvement in performance www7.tomshardware.com Unless you run high bandwidth programs (engineering related, ect) RDRAM is a waste of $$$$

Some folks still don't remember when a 35mm camera cost $800, and if you had one, everyone thought you were with Newsweek!

This past Saturday, I bought a vcr player for 66 dollars, to replace the old one that broke. It has all the features we need. The old one, bought in 1991, cost about $290.
