"The curse of spellcheck" is a disease that is running through these threads - it originated in the proposition that "if you make an even number of errors, the answer is frequently correct" in 1950s high school math - now, the word "loser" is being spelled everywhere as "looser" [ sic ] because it happens to be a word -
