I use GTE, which has been pretty reliable, with Alta Vista as a back up (one of those free-with-ads ports).........GTE has pretty consistently managed 42 kbps, sometimes going up to 46, rarely as low as 36, never lower. It has been "down" maybe half a dozen times in a year, only once or twice for more than an hour. I have never strained e-mail resources.......

$10.50 a month is a bargain. FGI was $20 per month paying a year in advance, which I wouldn't mind if I got the service promised. I feel it's darn near criminal what FGI has done, selling a package with unlimited e-mail and then dropping it to a meg.
