A MEGA stock in the making!!! Check it out: Patriot Scientific Announces New Design Win for Pipeline Inspection Equipment; Computer & Audiotechnik of Germany designs PSC1000 into Data Recorder SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 2000--Patriot Scientific Corp. (OTCBB:PTSC), today announced that Computer & Audiotechnik of Dortmund, Germany has selected Patriot's PSC1000 microprocessor as the processor for a data recorder for a pipeline inspection tool. The data recorder has been designed exclusively for Analytic Pipe GmbH, a German pipeline service company. It will be integrated into a pipeline inspection tool known as a "Caliper Pig". Analytic Pipe GmbH provides servicing worldwide for all kinds of pipelines, ranging in diameter from 6 to 60 inches. In addition to the design, Computer & Audiotechnik will manufacture and assemble the data recorder for Analytic Pipe. The Caliper Pig is used to find dents and ovalities in a variety of pipelines. The data recorder collects data from a mechanical diameter-measurement-system, compresses the data, and stores it in flash memory. Additionally, information is gathered from a distance-measurement system, which is also then stored in memory. The data recorder is portable and battery powered. The data recorder is scheduled to ship to Analytic Pipe by May of this year. "Computer & Audiotechnik's decision to use the PSC1000 in the data recorder fpr Analytic Pipe continues the penetration into the German industrial market by Patriot and our German distribution partner, Ineltek" said Patriot's President and Chief Executive Officer, Jim Lunney. "As the PSC1000 is chosen as the processor for more and more high quality industrial equipment, we expect the growth of our business in Germany to accelerate" added Lunney. "The PSC1000 is a great microprocessor for industrial control applications. The low power attributes were critically important to our selection of the PSC1000, since the data recorder is a portable, battery-powered device" said Computer & Audiotechnik's managing director, Frank Seyfferth.
