One other short-term explaination: employees can sell options right now ... normally starts 2 days or so after an earnings announcement. Once they sell some off - we should start going up. Happy buying!

Disclosure: Long CMGI

scarecrow, you are absolutely right. i would only add that experience teaches us that cmgi typically sells off for a while after earnings announcements, whether good or bad-- and that after expectation beating announcements, the price dips, recovers, and charges forward. cmgi is behaving totally consistently with its past behavior.

we should not be greedy.

No disrespect intended to you, but perhaps to some other more glib, fairweather, longs. There is a difference between being concerned over short term performance and just hoping for a pop. There is good news everywhere you turn on CMGI and the reaction of late has been slim. If once in a while we would like to express our frustration, it should not be construed as an attack on the stock.
