Bizfon Partners with CopperCom to Deliver Voice over DSL
Solutions for SOHO Customers

SALEM, N.H., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Bizfon, Inc., a developer and marketer of full featured, affordable phone systems for the SOHO (small office/home office) market and CopperCom(TM), a Silicon Valley company that is Giving Voice to DSL(TM), today announced that the two companies have agreed to provide a Voice over DSL solution designed specifically for the SOHO market. Bizfon is also joining CopperCom's ``The Many Voices of DSL(TM)' partner program. The combined Bizfon, CopperCom solution supports the delivery of multiple phone lines and high-speed Internet access over a single existing phone wire at the customer premises. Bizfon has licensed CopperCom's technology and is incorporating it into a line of DSL-based Integrated Access Devices (IADs) targeted at small business customers who want an affordable, easily managed, integrated solution for all their voice and data needs. The result will be the first DSL based, integrated voice and data communications system that includes comprehensive hybrid PBX/Key system features for less than $2000.

``Bizfon's proven track record of providing extremely functional, cost effective products, along with its expertise in penetrating the small business market, makes it an excellent partner,' said Jennifer Stagnaro, vice president of marketing at CopperCom.

Bizfon Products Address the Needs of Small Business

The Bizfon 680 includes voice mail with pager notification, automated attendant with professionally recorded messages, music on hold, Caller ID, digital conferencing, outbound call forwarding, automatic fax detection, external paging and multi-lingual prompts. Bizfon provides a series of proprietary station sets, however the system is also compatible with standard ``off the shelf' phones. Virtually all of the capabilities of the system are accessible from a remote cell phone or a home office phone. Using Bizfon's BizTouch 2 station set on their home office phone line, a home office user has single button access to voice mail, conferencing, transferring, forwarding, and more.

Pioneering New Ways to Ease the Burden and Reduce the Cost of Installing and Supporting DSL IAD's

Bizfon has pioneered new techniques and technologies that enable it to remotely deliver comprehensive customer support including initial setup/configuration and day to day support -- all at a very low cost to its customers. Bizfon is working to bring the same remote support strategy they deliver for voice applications to address the challenges and costs of setting up and maintaining data networks remotely thereby eliminating costly truck rolls. ``Our joint solution is ideal for the SOHO marketplace and includes ease of provisioning and management, a key requirement for service providers delivering Voice over DSL solutions to these customers. We are very excited about working with CopperCom, the VoDSL market leader, to enable the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective integrated voice and data services to this burgeoning market.' said Peter Santeusanio, Founder and CTO of Bizfon.
