Note that I said the bear market in old economy stocks will end SOON after the bear market in new economy stocks begins. There still is significant downside in the old economy although much less than on the NAZ.

I am not saying that the old economy stocks will take off soon after the NAZ crashes. There probably will be a significant base building period before that happens. But I do think there will be very little risk in buying these issues then -- providing a low-risk opportunity for patient investors to make nice returns the old fashioned way.

Could the rationale for the next bull market in old economy stocks be -- these companies will eventually benefit greatly from the application of new economy technology?
