ahhaha:

You have brought some good discussion and input into the thread during the last several weeks. I appreciate this and hope you continue to contribute to this thread. However, please read the ground rules for this thread (#Subject-28734) and refrain from personal attacks.

Sometimes discussion here, or on any thread, can become a bit heated. Then the heat begins to build, and build and build incrementally. Instead of going down that path here, let's all continue our efforts in keeping this a civil thread. This is for the benefit of all. Note that these comments are directed towards everyone on this thread.

Thanks,
-Eric

ahhaha,

I believe - and I may be wrong - that you and I come from a similar occupational background. All of your comments have been thought provoking, and many - particularly those contrary to the bubble gum, schoolhouse-styled villanizing and blame of market makers, the SRO's, the SEC, etc. - are those which I agree with and have agreed with for some time. But let's keep it as civil as possible, remembering that one can catch more flies with sugar than vinegar and that sometimes it's best not to say anything at all. I too have the behavioral hallmark of a professional trader - the temper - and sometimes I come off as caustic, but sometimes it's best just to agree to disagree on message board disputes.

I won't judge a person 'til I've walked a mile in his shoes. And once I've walked that mile, I'll do all the judging I want, because, hell - how's he going to catch me a mile away, and when I have his shoes? (Humor helps too.)
