Jer,
Not all Biotechs will explode again.
In my post I was referring to the human genome-related biotechs only. IMNX, Amgen, Genentech and others were unjustly slammed and should recover and that's why I said that I was looking at Amgen and DNA. These stocks have products in hand and earnings and therefore will be back.

I know that you depend primarily on PnF but in this case a look at the fundamentals may be in order. CRA, INCY and others in the group have no earnings and are not being traded on earnings. These companies are being traded on the promise of vapor-genes, similar to vapor-ware. The news on free access to the human genome sequence information IS very significant and will put a ceiling on their valuations until things clear up, which may well take years. They will remain volatile and will offer trading opportunities, but I expect that mutual funds will start taking their money out, despite what Merrill says.
