Ken, for the record, I have no position, nor have I ever held a position in ECNC. My broker won't allow a short position in the name, even if I were inclined to short sell an OTC:BB. I'm sorry you continue to deny the reality of the SEC suspension. Perhaps you could name a stock that has been suspended by the SEC that has supported your erroneous belief that it's not necessarily a validation of the short position. Just one would do. Just one.

Regards,

Barb

I will say this...

The SEC halt is certainly a validation of the ability of people like Mr. A@P to spin a good yarn to them to make them look into this thing and also potentially help the longs from the tactics of the shorts. I know these guys launched into this stock after bare minimum DD and based on their misconstruing PR and other information. Small companies starting up do not have all the wondrously comples nuances of the SEC maze down. I'll bet many unwittingly get lost on occassion along its maze of rules and twists. Unless they had a very good SEC lawyer guiding them through every turn and twist, it is entirely possible that they messed up here or there. Companies do it all the time. It may also be that our Manny, in his ever present zeal which we all have come to learn from his presence might have gotten a bit too exuberant once and a while. So what? The guy is excited about the stock and his role moved from consultant to inhouse CIO. He then started using Safe Harbor disclaimers as he says based on lawyer advice from company. All I have ever seen is an effort to do things the right way, a wholly enthusiastic group of people at ECNC who are wildly jazzed up about the product. Maybe too enthused for some, but never once proven to be "pumping" for a dump. No, this technology is not hidden. It is easily understandable. Not like CEGE, Mr. A@P's pet. Anyone with common sense can tell swipe technology will be safer and give more comfort to the banks who have to process fraudulent transactions. This technology will provide another layer of security. Notice not one of the shorts can touch this unless they lie about how it is somehow the same as Cybercash and other type-in methods (not swipe).

We'll see where it shakes out, but I expect some superficial slap on the wrist and then one can only hope this one skies high based on the publicity and never allow one short to gain from this manipulative scheme designed only to harm a promising company in order to line their own pockets. Otherwise, I am dead wrong and was taken in like a dupe. Nothing about my experience with this company over the last few months has given me any indication that this is a fraud. Good luck.
