It will be interesting to see if AG (as in Greenie, not Gloop) decides to take a different tack and start attacking the something that can address the wealth effect...like margin. Then again, maybe AG is really smart and he is a big proponent of the internet economy and wants the old NYSE dinosaurs to move into the 21st century so he decides to hike rates to keep the traditional value stocks down and let the growth stocks explode so that their stock value can be used to acquire the old world companies and thus merge bricks and mortar/smokestakes with bits, bytes and packets and thus fueling the next big growth stage. (is that a run-on sentence?)
