The correct term is "CDNow was Amazoned". BTW, AMZN's strategy is simple. Make life tough for competitors and very soon, only a few e-tailers will be left standing to compete with AMZN. CDNow and Buy.com may go out of business or have to seriously curtail their spending....which leaves the field clear for Amazon!! Olu, The end result will not reduce competition. Now the traditional retailers are coming on-line and quickly. Amazon has to continue to raise enough cash to be rid of them too. I don't see that happening.
