This is what I wrote. You purport to rebut it with your url, but do not address it at all:

For your information, as if you didn't know it, not all individuals
who call themselves "fundamentalists" believe in the literal
inerrancy of the Bible.

The word "fundamentalist" evokes a less patently bizarre approach to governmental policy-ethics advice -- it sounds somehow less off the wall -- than is the phrase "bibilical inerrantist."

But you have given me powerfully to think! I had been hoping, deep down, that there was, even in the case of the fundamentalist Olasky, some possibility of a cum grano salis approach to applying Biblical injunctions literally to the real world of international politics.

You now tell me that I must accept as fact that ALL -- without exception -- ALL Christians who call themselves fundamentalists, define themselves by a complete acceptance of the infallibility and inerrancy of scripture, however self-contradictory or brutal?

Ah, well.

(In fact, there are cum grano salis fundamentalists, just as there are cum grano salis members of other more mainstream religious groupings, and you know it. Of course you can argue with them that they have no right to the labels they claim.)

I have to stop this now, I have other things to do, and it has been a foolish effort on my part.

Neo, I just put E on ignore. She's weighing this thread down with nonsense...
