All,

Is there any reason why AMD should not spin off its FLASH business in the same way that HP spun off Agilent? The independent valuation of Agilent, with 85% HP ownership, has done wonders for HP stock valuation. Investors should urge AMD to do this.

Pravin.
PS: I just increased my position by 2000 shares.

Thanks Jim.

I still have 140 shares of INTC that I bought about 18 months ago. I know that's chump change for some of you. I've been contemplating selling them for a while, but I figured Q1 will be good for both stocks. I'll probably sell on the run-up. I had a hunch when the stock broke $100 that there would be a lot of analyst support. They have to be worried just like I am about the HUGE market cap. $150 represents a HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS. I think some longs will take some serious profits at this point, but will talk it up all they can to put off selling their darling.

For INTC to double it would have justify an 800 billion market cap. I'm trying to make a decision on MSFT also.

Jim - RE: "I listened to both audios. I must say that the audience participant, ED, knew his stuff and pretty much put ASSHOK, in a tin can."

Too be picky, Ed said AMD had 37% of the X86 market and 46% of the high-end market in January when in reality those figures were for retail only. There's obviously a big difference.
