ICICI road map for power sector- NTPC takeover of NJPC mooted ICICI has mooted consolidation of small capacity central sector generators such as Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation (NJPC), North Eastern Electric Power Company (Neepco) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). In this direction, the Power Ministry's consult ants have proposed that National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) acquire the Centre's equity in NJPC.............
