Amateur TA time. The 4 & 9 DMA remain above the 18 DMA indicating CPQ continues it's current up trend. Stochastics reads 77.66. Well above the 50 mark. The MACD line is above the MACD signal line. All these indicators are positive. No sell signal is in sight on well over twice the average volume traded today. A 9/16 gain with the DOW down 135 and the NAZ taking a 200 point bath. I counted 10 block trades. The top nine block trades accounted for 4 1/2 million shares traded. With the more then 6 million shares traded on the open, there may have been some more block trades hiding in the opening. The large volume is eating up the resistance at 30. Six stones set in the wall today. Overall, not a bad day for the good guys. NW
