<<After much consternation and consultation with ?my angels? I will now join the ranks of the full time porchies. As of today, I have officially dropped out of the rat race. Beginning in early April I will stay home, play with my kids, play tennis and golf, do some DD, write CCs, and just enjoy living my life.>>

Candito, Congrats!

I have a ways to go before I can join you Porch sitters, but when I do, I say we all go and see how the fish bite off the beaches of Hawaii, Fuji, and some of those other Islands...

Perhaps we can drive golf balls out at the passing ocean liners...

Polvo can use his sailboat to retrieve them.
We'll set him up with a cage like they have at the driving range...
He can give me the anchor and I'll go down to look for them...

Ahhh... someday, somehow...

Congrats candide!

And another one bites the dust ;-) Here's to many decades of stress free living with you & the candide clan.

In honor of this momentous occasion, you do not have any sandbox duty for the rest of the month.

Cheers,

w2

Great going Candide! I am glad that you are in control of the future and a very stress free Life!

Voltaire, Thanks again with the help on the CCs, I used some of the proceeds to buy a few more calls that were on sale during the last few minutes of the day.

I just got back from the Fitness Center and it feels great to have all those CCs in place. Hoping to do some more shopping tomorrow.

Hi candide,

congrats you and your family deserve it. Now maybe we can get the Tennis, Golf, Trout Fishing and just river watching in.

did not know I would play a small in helping the employment numbers.

Welcome to the ranks of the rich and aimless!

No kidding, congratulations. Maybe you can help me figure out where all the free time went that I was expecting to have when I hung up my spurs in January!

Good for you Candide:

I have been contemplating that type of move for the past 2 years. Based on Voltair's game plan, this can become a reality. I set a personal goal for myself this year. If I reach it, I'm going to chuck it all and watch my kids (8,4, and 2) grow up while they are awake. I hate coming home every night at 10:00, stare at the paperwork that has become a medusa. I swear, that these papers are having sex and procreating like wildfire on my desk at the office at night. Who ever said that computers will lessen paperwork is lying. It is now a war as to who can spit out more paperwork at eachother. The only winners are the paper manufacturers, and losers, are the trees.

Maybe I can take over for Cathy Lee in the morning (any experience necessary???).
