dmp: I could have sold my CSCO short lower than where it closed today. But I expected the decline to start with the first rising wedge...I went against my system and did not trail my stop I left it just below my original entry, so I did make a little profit, but not as much as I could have...

With my "speculation" money (day/swing trading portfolio)...if it don't move I close and move my money elsewhere. Frankly I made out well with the money I was shorting CSCO by going long some biotechs...<g> The last few weeks have been absolutely great...except for the lightening strike...<ng>

Just because one "knows" it is a mania does not prelude one from taking advantage of all this irrational exuberance. That's why I started day trading again...

Regards,
LG
