To everyone who's been whining about CMGI performance this year (not Mike; to nobody in particular), please compare this chart:

bigcharts.com

To this chart:

bigcharts.com

The first is CMGI in 1999; the second is CMGI in 2000. As you can plainly see, we went through this last year, too, and if you looked at SI posts from around this time last year you'd see the same sorts of whining posts (for example, siliconinvestor.com. I guarantee you every person who sold this time last year is now whining about the minimum four-bagger he or she missed.

What's up Mike,

I'm sure you are one who sees the irony:
From a low of $33 1/8 to a high of $163 1/2 and two splits in a 12 month period. CMGI on a little pullback to the $124 level. We can only hope we get an intraday shot to load back up on call options on a dip to the $110-115 level sometime this week or next before heading on to new highs in late March or sometime in April. If you know the fibonacci you expect the pull backs, and you exploit them.

Yet we have those who describe "long suffering" or words to that effect concerning their CMGI experience. I can only assume they have been long somewhere between a day to two or three months or so.

Regards to the real longs
that know what they own.
