considering the fact that the mkt. took the oppty. of the biotech fall to join in and dive, we've now lost a major sector trend that was supporting certain high valuations. my thinking is that watching AOL MSFT CSCO IBM SUNW EBAY, et al, will tell the tale, short-term. if they gap down/close lower next 2 out of 3 days, we're in major trouble. the fringe plays are now being burned to a crisp, a la ENTU VRTS NTAP. the only way "back" from here is with big names leading, otherwise it will take great luck to be in the few random stocks that will run sans mkt. direction and leadership. the overall VALUE argument must be resolved with the market determining these leadership values first, the the sectors can move again, either up or down. jmho
