Are you allowed to joke around in a casino?

It depends on the casino and what kind of table your on. People on the $500 minimum blackjack tables tend to take the game more serious than the people on the $2 tables.

Oh, and it not a good idea to play "hide the aces" when playing any card game, unless you have an interest in meeting the head of security.

Hey Dood, I plan to be extra jocular this weekend in Reno. But first I have to meet with a talkative New York lawyer in San Francisco for a few days. You might know him...

BTW Do you live in San Francisco? Do you know the way to San Jose?

The idea is to have a good time... there are quite a few jockular people around.. usually the ones that just showed up. You tend to lose your jockularity as you lose your money. Of course jockularity is not allowed in the high-stakes area. Friendliness - yes. Jockularity - No.
