gst, the end may come but i think you're at LEAST a couple months too early. This is a liquidity driven market. Too much money to be made riding the biotechs back up and breakout on the Nets, along with the rest of the techs. In lieu of a liquidity drain (which won't happen until April 14 and further out in the summer, IMHO), and any half-point surprises from Greenspan, there's no big catalyst to freak people out, like a Long Term Capital crash, Russian ruble devaluation or such.

As for Japan, if institutions and individuals are pulling money out to lock in profits up to March 31, it just seems logical that they would bring it to the Naz. Softbank off by half is no different than Net corrections we've experienced in the past couple years.
