Jiml--tremendous points on the Simmons report and your comments demonstrate the deep level of thinking by a number of people on this thread.I like Simmons work quite a bit but they have made these points before particularly in speeches by Matt. Your comments about the hindsight nature of their "new metric" concept are well taken.And their comments would seem to belie the very point that the world has indeed changed--Simmons has been trumpeting the depletion issue across the world. Also the natural gas sea change heralds a new world--as you note.I think they are straining in this latest report. Frank
