Hello Frank,
I've got a couple of questions for you re Tbeam. This issue of fog/rain etc. Is that the key issue regarding this method of data transmission? IOW if there is a way to overcome that problem does the rest make sense?

I was watching a show on PBS talking about astronomy and how by the knowledge about how light reacts they are able to tell many things (distance, speed, rotation,) about these extremely far away objects and it struck me that the mechanism recieving the light beams plays perhaps the most critical role in this technology. Is that fair to say?

BTW A liitle Vaz on the nose of that bull would create some funny moments for you guys. Or have you thought of that already? <gg>

One more thing, anything ever come of the newsletter? I'd be very interested and know others as well.

Thanks,

D.H.
