The Peoples Network.... >>The internet is not some kind of cookie cutting machine for the use of Madison Avenue. It is the peoples network. As such you must convince the people and not only the leaders that your technology is the one that they should embrace.>> Great thought Paul! More and more companies and their executives should keep this image in mind when it comes to understanding their role and placement in this network. 1) Companies are now at the bottom of an inverted pyramid. 2) Executive management are at the bottom of an inverted pyramid which should now be the shape of ALL companies. 3) All growth and EVERYTHING from this point forward is about personal empowerment, energy, evangelization. 4) As the old pyramids are being turned upside down, the world of "Business" is being torched and destroyed by the massive fission-like energy of service which this New World is all about. 5) For Individuals - not companies - have the power. The only saving grace for companies would be if they band all the world governements together and attempt to lock down the net in some way. Privacy is the next battleground. For you can't buy trust anymore. The world is forming a new tapestry of personal trust between and among people who are relearning these new values of service. The world does not want trust to exist for distrust plays into passivity, control and all the power games that go with them. Teach a child how to distrust and you've stolen a percentage of his/her personal energy. Trust (personal) = Money (anonymous) The question we all have to answer for ourselves is: What version of trust to you value more - - personal trust or - anonymous trust If you value personal trust more than anonymous trust you will completely see and understand the rock solid requirement we all have to live ethical moral lives which set positive examples for others. There is still too much finger pointing in the world. All this does is breed distrust which is the enemy of our personal power. Imagine a little child giving off fresh, innocent, vibrant energy. Now imagine that little child giving off fearful, cold distrusting energy. Distrust is like a savage monster which feeds on the energy of others. The only way to counter distrust is to have the guts, energy and balls to totally and completely trust that person. There are just too, few people in the world who really believe in this stuff to want to make a massive difference in the world. Novell's technology could be used to support the growth and development of Virtual Communities throughout the world which share service, information, knowledge and trust. These communities can "go higher" than the current money-oriented energies of the currnet MYDOT.COM transition. For if more people would learn the value of focusing the unlimited value of PERSONAL - as opposed to anonymous/money - TRUST....the world could massively change for the better. For anytime when we put anonymous trust above personal trust we sacrifice some moral or ethical value. And the only explanation or rationalization for this is one thing: failure to believe in these grounded moral/ethical laws of the universe. Religion has nothing to do with this argument. We are talking about scientific laws: energy which expands and gives life and light vs. energy which takes and brings darkness. TRUST vs. DISTRUST. Sorry for the length. This is a lot deeper than just taking over Novell. It's about a New Novell breaking through for just these reasons. Peace. GO!!
