Erm... that isn't a date that any "webpage" was updated: Record last updated on 17-Jun-1999. Record created on 17-Jun-1999. Database last updated on 14-Mar-2000 20:50:00 EST That simply says that some record in the whois database changed on March 14th. This particular one didn't change since June 1999. And if they wanted to put up a web page, they could do so with no whois changes. But I'm sure they just grabbed it after noticing some random news story about some other company being in the same situation with the idea of preventing it. Of course, it doesn't work, since it isn't the domain name that makes the place to bitch, it is what people have to bitch about...
