What they basically announced is that they have increased strategic focus on the rapidly expanding Electronic Statements Presentment (ESP) market with the introduction of its ESP+ Solutions Suite(TM) and are offering a suite of products. The next announcement that I would like to hear is that they have made some sales of this product...

insci-statements.com Introduces ESP+ Solutions Suite for Electronic Statement Presentment Market
Increases Strategic Focus On Rapidly Expanding ESP Market
WESTBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 2000-- insci-statements.com Corp. (Nasdaq:INSI - news), a provider of Internet-based and on-site solutions for statement/bill presentment services and digital document storage, workflow and electronic commerce, Tuesday announced its increased strategic focus on the rapidly expanding Electronic Statements Presentment (ESP) market with the introduction of its ESP+ Solutions Suite(TM).

Designed for use in both on-site, enterprise-wide settings and in Internet-based portals such as the company's InfiniteSpace.com subsidiary, ESP+ is the next generation implementation of the company's widely used COINSERV Solutions Suite. The ESP+ Solutions Suite is immediately available with pricing dependent upon configuration, number of users, and installation-specific criteria such as consulting and systems integration services.

According to Killen & Associates of Palo Alto, Calif., the global ESP market will grow from 1998's $500 million to $18 billion by 2005, with business-to-business being the largest segment of that market. Killen projects that the most likely early adopters of ESP will include mutual funds, banks, brokerage firms, insurance companies and other financial services firms. insci-statements.com currently receives approximately 60 percent of its revenues from the financial services market.

insci-statements.com Chairman and CEO E. Ted Prince, Ph.D., said, ``We are convinced that the business-to-business ESP market is exactly the right segment for insci-statements.com and our subsidiary InfiniteSpace.com. The introduction of ESP+ is an important milestone achievement in our strategic plan and commitment to become a leader in the market for ESP products and services with both on-site and portal-based solutions.

``Our aggressive research and development efforts have resulted in keeping our products at the forefront of market needs, enabling our users to gain a lead in their respective industries,' Prince added. ``We are committed to the continued development of such products and services.'

The ESP+ suite includes a full range of electronic statement presentment features including high-volume statement archiving for statement and customer relationship management, e-mail response processing management, statement case management, multi-faceted image capture capabilities for source document input, CD statement distribution and a wide range of automated electronic statement presentment, packaging and delivery features.

insci-statements.com complements its software suite with extensive data conversion, Intelligent Data Stream (IDS) support, systems integration, consulting and customer support services.

ESP+ Solutions Suite

ESP+archive for Windows NT and UNIX is a Deep Document Archive providing high-performance ingestion, indexing, storage management, and retrieval of high volumes of computer produced statements, confirms, bills, invoices and reports. This includes handling diverse data streams such as standard ASCII and EBCDIC formats, IBM© Advanced Function Presentation© (AFP), Xerox Metacode(TM) and DJDE, Adobe© Portable Document Format (PDF), and in the near future, XML. It also provides rapid application deployment through productivity tools like ESP+designer(TM) for document definition setup and ESP+forms(TM) for the development of PDF-based form overlays for plain text documents.

ESP+web(TM) is an easy-to-use Web interface and access solution that provides Web-based access to digital documents using the same search and presentation concepts as the Windows client, with no proprietary plug-ins or database connections required by the end user.

ESP+desktop is a 32-bit Windows desktop interface access solution that provides access to all features of the ESP+archive, including support for viewing and printing intelligent data stream documents and scanned images. ESP+desktop also provides an API for integration with third party applications and will run on Microsoft© Windows 95/98, Windows© NT Workstation and Windows NT Server.

ESP+image is a high volume, high-throughput image capture and processing system supporting indexing and image processing, either centrally or distributed, in preparation for document image storage in the ESP+archive. ESP+image provides the digital document archive with common storage, indexing and retrieval of scanned images alongside existing computer-produced output.

ESP+flow provides workflow activation of business documents and business processes. Whether triggered by documents stored in the repository or by a specific business activity (or combinations of activities), ESP+flow supports the design and flow of business processes and their requirements to link to needed underlying support information.

ESP+direct automates the distribution of documents contained in the ESP+archive via e-mail, fax or printing. Triggered either by the arrival of these documents or through ad-hoc requests, automatic distribution is a natural fit for today's emerging e-business initiatives.

ESP+CD provides for document packaging and distribution on CD. It supports the creation and distribution of custom self-contained CDs with their own digital document repositories and all necessary search, retrieval and viewing components. CD content may be automatically extracted or requested on an ad-hoc basis from the main ESP+archive, or archived directly from other sources. In applications where Internet distribution does not fulfill all distribution requirements, ESP+CD provides a viable production solution.

ESP+link for ERP provides for archive integration with SAP R/3. It is SAP-certified to be in compliance with SAP's ArchiveLink(TM) interface. As an SAP R/3 system grows, its database becomes overloaded with information that should be archived. The ESP+link module allows businesses to additionally leverage the use of their ESP+archive system to aid SAP R/3 users in relieving that overloading by providing a robust and scaleable repository for storage of SAP objects in the ESP+archive.

ESP+analyzer is a document data mining and report generation tool that from the convenience of the desktop lets businesses unlock the knowledge contained in their stored documents. It provides a means of extracting lines, columns and fields from text-based documents to build ad-hoc reports, tables, graphs, or data export for other applications.

ESP+APItoolkit allows businesses to build their own applications and interfaces that make use of the document repository and its contents, while eliminating the need to re-engineer the underlying technologies for searching and viewing. When standard access isn't enough, or tight integration to another application is required, this API provides the additional power to incorporate that access into critical applications.

ESP+forms provides for PDF presentation of plain text documents making use of PDF-based form overlays to create completely formatted documents for display or printing. The feature uses standard off-the-shelf tools (Adobe© Acrobat(TM), MS Word©, etc.) to develop the PDF form overlay and ESP+forms to do a one-time mapping of the plain-text page content to the PDF form overlay. Flexible mapping allows users to move fields or omit unwanted fields and text. The user can map what they want to display and where they want to display it on the form.

ESP+designer is the document definition template for ESP+archive.. It provides a convenient, graphical user interface (GUI) approach to creating document definitions for ESP+archive systems. ESP+designer offers a point and click approach that can ease the creation of an extensive range of new data groups for statements, reports and other business documents.
