Thread- If you really want to understand why SBC is very interested in what AFCI offers, you need to understand their strategic plans for rolling out DSL services. I did a couple of posts that attempts to explain how AFCI is positioned right in front of SBC's rollout: Message 13206520 Message 13206558 IF SBC's strategy works, it bodes very well for AFCI. SBC will be motivated to rollout those remote terminals which will contain AFCI product. -MikeM(From Florida)
