Many more bulls than bears. MDD not a good indicator. There are actually some smart folks there as opposed to the clowns you and I interact with each day -g-

somebody has to sell.

a crash developes as psycholgoy quickly and suddenly turns bearish and everybody is trapped at once.

we NEED more people bearish. we just need prices falling fast and not allowing them out except at greater fallinig prices
