A selection of items from Bill Graham Presents - the world's premier collection of original poster-related rock, blues, jazz and soul music memorabilia - is available to purchase on SFX Collectibles brand-new web site, at www.sfx.com/collectibiles Bill Graham Presents is a division of SFX Entertainment. In addition, SFX Collectibles' online store will feature its own personalized merchant auction site through Yahoo! Auctions (http://auctions.yahoo.com). This relationship will supplement the online store at the SFX web site and will feature some of the most rare pieces from the Bill Graham Presents Archives. ``SFX Collectibles is in the enviable position of having the most sought after archives of live entertainment memorabilia,' said Michael L. Krassner, President, SFX Collectibles. ``Music enthusiasts and collectors will be thrilled with the vast array of rare posters, tickets and other items from 1966 - 1971, some of which will be offered for the first time ever.' The origins and evolution of the concert poster as a collectible stemmed from the need to create an inexpensive promotional device. What was envisioned as a cheap way to announce a performer's concert was coming to town spawned a secondary industry that is still growing today. The market for such collectibles is so strong that the framed, original mint condition tickets and poster for the famous Jimi Hendrix Flying Eyeball design sell for $3,500 - $4,000. The products that will be sold on SFX Collectibles will include multiple items, such as tickets, posters, postcards and concert programs that will be framed in combinations (for example, tickets with postcards or poster, ticket and postcards) that are not generally available elsewhere. Prices will be from $100 - $5,000. In the coming weeks, SFX Collectibles will have a more detailed listing of items for sale on the site. Items will include posters, postcards and tickets from such music legends as Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Cream, Donovan, The Grateful Dead, Steve Miller and Miles Davis.
