Wayne, I must disagree wrt the computers. You can hang on to your old computer. SB claims that a x486 is all that one needs, anyway. ;-) Or, you can build your own computer and install whatever s/w you want. You can even buy a barebones computer with just the O/S - Linux if you prefer - installed. I have done both myself in the past. Finally, the net of Govt. cost and quality is perhaps not as bad as you think. Ask someone who is getting the benefits, someone who is at a comparative economic disadvantage. Wonder why Clinton has such a high job approval rating? -BGR.
