It's The Ides Of March, and as The Old Folks say - "It Plays Out". So today's a day to watch the market drama real close with an eye to the story of The Senate Steps. Who gets the shaft today and from whom, et tu Brute, 2B or not 2B, etc. Lemmetell ya, last night was one of those dream nights where everything was all mixed up with everything else like gibberish, like an all-night-long replay of every thought thrown into a blender and whirled. The kind of dream night where I woke up twice to turn off the tv, and it wasn't on! SI posts whirled in front of me like a slot machine in the Akashic Records, same typeface as Wall Street Journal, with a goddess in a toga (Dotcom!) pulling the handle. But it was going by too fast to read it, except for snatches I can't remember except knowing it made me $mile seeing all those green numbers. Whshew! Had to go into NYC this morning - and the names on the sides of the trucks, familiar-looking people crossing the street, and etc. like that - saw some of them last night in dreamland. Can't put anything together from it, it's one of those days when a thought becomes another thing altogether by the end of the sentence. Good thing there's plenty of no-brainer work to do around here. I'll be alrite. So we shall see what plays out in reality, on this Ides Of March Y2K & Beyond. Don't worry, I won't be touching any stocks today. Just watching 'em whirl as I try to do paperwork, is enough. Seems as though something's turning Bigtime, could it be just an index finger making a screwy motion by the side of me head?! St. Pats is day after tomorrow - maybe. LOL. This is a verykind of shaky state we straight-arrow Irish hybrids get to sometimes around St. Pat's - doubleplusgood a stepdancing cure is only two days away.
