yes, it's good to see some activity here again. i don't
know of any other place where we can talk about multiple
individual stocks.

almost everything in my portfolio is going down. PVN
is the exception. up 6 points today. i bought 2 options
on them, a 2002 60 call, and a september 70 call. both
doing nicely. last may, PVN tanked from 138 to 80 when
they got sued. then from 80 down to 58 on interest rate
problems. i bought the WVRAL 2002 call weeks ago, and added
the PVNIN yesterday. morgan stanley upgraded them to strong
buy and set a price of 110. their sales are unbelievable,
last quarter sales were up 109%, earnings up 66%. they've
issued 220,000 visa cards through the internet in less than
a year, and taken in 750 million $ in deposits through the
net. and the phone...my computerless dad switched one
of his retirement accounts to PVN. that's what got me
more interested.

also MXT i bought at 26 last week and is now over 30.
they announced greater than expected earnings expectations.

my largest holding, DMX.to is trading in a range of
c$9.10 to c$14.30. any day now they'll be making announcements that will shoot that to the upper teens
to low 20s.

do you guys have anything going up?

c ya,
