I think it's a ramp to save the market. PPI/CPI is meaningless.

Why does CNBC even report the figure anymore? Greenspan specifically said, in public, that the fed will no longer use the PPI/CPI figures because the labor department is subject to political influence. (ie, they cook the numbers in order to keep the sheeple quiet)
