EBay's new initiative to tap into the small to midsized business market follows a similar move by Ariba and Dell Computer. Both companies will create a business exchange to targeting Dell Computer's (DELL: news, msgs) 2 million small business customers.See full story.

"About $40 million of business is conducted on Dell's site every day," said Ariba President Larry Mueller. "We'll use that direct relationship to" tap into Dell's more than 2 million small to midsized business customers. And that's just the beginning, he suggested."
