This is what I said in the post you characterize as you do. What I have made clear is that as I see it, IF I vote, my choice is between a dolt (there's more to be said, but I haven't the energy for that door, in a forum in which accuracy is so irrelevant) and a scoundrel. I proposed killing myself to avoid either, and that as an alternative to suicide, an option was to put a spoke in either of these prizes' wheels by voting for whichever one didn't have a Congressional majority behind him. This is what you continue to characterize as "You said you could live with Gore."

I can do no more than threaten suicide-- LOLOLOL!

<<No, Bill, you excerpted misleadingly, and so transparently I am
actually a bit shocked. THIS is what I said:

...if it looks like there will be a
Democratic Congress, I may vote for Bush. I like to stick a
spoke in their wheels. Of course, if it looks like there may be
a
Republican one, I might be forced to vote for Gore. Gore is
not
sufficiently protective of the Second Amendment in my eyes.

To have said, "I can live with [a candidate]," would have implied,
would it not, a feeling of reconciliation toward that vote, and
candidate?

And did I not actually say the following?

if it looks like there will be a Democratic Congress, I may
vote for Bush. I like to stick a spoke in their wheels. Of
course, if it looks like there may be a Republican one, I
might be forced to vote for Gore.

Bill, would you care to take this opportunity to admit what JLA
will not, that I didn't say I "could live with Gore"? Would you
further admit that you excerpted misleadingly?

(Again, had I said it, it would have implied, would it not, that I
couldn't live with Bush, but could with Gore? Right?)

Please acknowledge.

P.S. There is one way you could say in honesty that I
communicated something even along the lines of "I could live
with Gore"!-- That would be if you concluded that because I
hadn't said I would actually commit suicide, it was implied.
However, that argument is mooted by the fact that... I did
comment here that I planned to kill myself rather than vote for
either of them!

EDIT: In my 15 minute window, I note your "please do us a favor
and admit you lied about it."

I add to my request that you apologize for that
mischaracterization unless you can substantiate it. Lies have
been told on this matter, but not by me.
