Sometimes me thinks me thinks too much. My Dad had one of those ugly yellowish/white rubber statuettes of a fat guy in a recliner. The wording carved into the statue was something like..When I works,I works hard;when I plays,I plays hard;but when I thinks,I falls asleep...
I kinda feel like that little guy right about now.Seems to me that this little selloff/shakeout came along but it didn't go away as quickly as in the past. Then I had a thought(let's try not to fall asleep here). Seems like it shifted gears. My take is that the second rub;I'll call it the back end of a double tap, was caused by a mild panic from people overexposed to MARGIN. Seeing a quick drop on tech/Bio or whatever may have put s shudder into some who thought they may have been overexposed to a MARGIN CALL.
