I've been talking to a lot of people, and the "chic" teams this year appear to be Michigan State, Temple, St. Johns, and Iowa State.

Teams I think are being underrated include Duke, Maryland, and Connecticut.

The SEC is a huge wild card right now. They were receiving major national press at the end of the regular season as the dominant conference in the nation, and rightfully so. However, as the top teams all fell flat on their faces in the SEC tourney, nobody knows what to think (including me). Right now, I am guessing Kentucky, Arkansas, and Auburn lose early, and LSU and Tennessee make a run. Florida is the wild card of wild cards.

My pick was Duke or DUCK or PUKE. Puke is preferred by Carolina fans. Iowa state, Texas, and Seton Hall could be the dark horses of this tourney.SEC is week, just like my TAR HEELS.

GO WINTHROP.
