I was trying to figure out that last 15 minutes. The only explanation was that I finally let go of a piece of my position at 3:45 which led to the takeoff :-)
Seriously, the only explanation is that maybe day traders shorted in the morning and let it go till the last 15 minutes to try to cover, and they didn't find enough for sale.
