I know its one of the same arguments they used in support of perot- but at least bush can't be influenced by promises of personal financial gain, since he's the beneficiary of bush sr. 's oil tycoon wealth. Wheras clinton is millions in debt and really likes rich chinese folks.. Gore isnt flush with bucks either.

I wish he would just admit he liked the nose candy back in college, though. his sidestepping is about as lame as clinton saying he didnt inhale..

Chris Matthews of Hardball says that a recent poll of potential voters re: hypothetical race of Bush vs. Gore vs. McCain as a third party candidate shows McCain with 32%, beating Gore, and McCain isn't even willing to try as a third party candidate. Oh, well.
