Hi Ed,

Wasting space ? Sounds like something a retired psychologist might say!

"<<HE WILL START A BAD NEWS OR NO NEWS CAMPAIGN.>> Your post would have a lot more relevance if Flag had not put out 2 positive news releases in a week --since they did you seem to be wasting space."

That depends on who "HE" is. Management need not be part of a pump-and-dump (although they are usually complicitous, especially since running a business and feeding a family often takes precedence over steering the straight and narrow). The "positive" news running up to the non-event news was not released by the company (but they were suspiciously communicated by Murdo <or so it has been claimed> to various people).

I am not saying that Murdo is necessarily part of this manipulation. But any thinking person must ask, if he held a bundle of stock, could use the money, and saw the opportunity to suggest to a (ahem) promoter that good things were on the way, would he not do so and unload some equity near the top of the run ? Maybe not. But food for thought.

The release of negative information/rumor IS part of the manipulation, regardless of who is doing it. The success of the manipulation is dependent upon how well conceived and executed the manipulation is.

BTW, a player may only be involved in Part I of the manipulation (the run-up and distribution) and let others continue with Part II (the re-accumulation / bad news phase).
