she x, my dear you are one discernable lady, very few people see with your clarity. I had a blowout with Accutrade today about why all 11 of my people got huge margin calls. But let me tell you another secret. The Houses not only do this crap to drive them out, they can short the stocks, raise the maintenance requirements and make a fortune and I told the bastards that today. selah, V

shester- had a talk with datek today. they've frozen my account because i'm transfering it. i don't have access to it but they gave me a margin call. i asked them how much they needed to settle. they said, "$145.50" "WHAT?" "$145.50 as of right now." i said, "dude, wait 60 seconds and click refresh." funny. anyway... i noticed that QCOM and ELON had both been changed to non marginable equities two days ago so i asked him about that. he said that was the doings of risk management. i said, "QCOM's a marginable stock again today, do they often have like... two days out of a year where they think a company is going to disintegrate or something and slap a no-margin sign on it for those two days." he said, "uuuuhhmmm... well... i've never seen them do it before." BTW, datek STILL has a NO-MARGIN SIGN on ELON. he said i was ok because i was grandfathered from last week. it pays to get in the good ones early! jajajaja!! i still LOVE datek's slogan: "Datek Online, We're Changing the Rules." yeah, often... and back too. -frozen beano (member of lollypop kidz)
