AlanH, Buffet just reported horrible earnings and look at the stock today. Many of the nyse stocks have already priced in a lot of bad news and the long bond is indicating the economy is cooling off anyway. The Prudent Speculator who uses a valuation scan only to create a buy list now has more stocks on their buy list than at the bottom in december 1987 or the bottom of the 1990 bear market. we had a double pump above the zero line on the nyse mcCllelan oscillator, which is usually called a buy spike, the a/d line has been pummeled since early jan, there is a lot of compression there, and thats why it popped so hard today. b
