Ever been to Hawaii before. It's one of only four states I haven't visited yet. One of my friends spent some time there and reported to me that he could find only two bookstores, aside from Barnes and Noble and Borders, in the whole chain of islands. Hawaiians should thank their lucky stars for Amazon.com. Maybe they don't need so many books though. I'm also told that the islands are populated with an overabundance of beautiful bronzed bodies, which partly makes up for the lack of books I presume.
