Off label use...hopefully lots. My husband's sister has macular - developed very early and she has now lost almost total vision. And now my husband's eye check-up indicated signs of macular degeneration. Should it develop into "wet" macular degeneration, we'd grasp at any straw available. The brutal method being used presently does little to prevent vision loss - and at that for a very short time. "Age-related macular" is a term frequently being used. We are not that old - this seems to be appearing at younger ages. Wear your sunglasses - protection is the best prevention.
