Recommend that individuals with a cable or DSL connection (esp.) to the internet check out some sort of security or firewall. I set up BlackIce awhile ago (http://www.networkice.com) and typically get one to three "attacks" a day. Here's info on attacks: advice.networkice.com
Kind of interesting to see the "behind the scenes" activity that goes on.
