Peter, i have no idea...except that obviously rotation is alive and well and has gotten even more extreme. luckily i have selectively nibbled on some dogs lately...you can't fall far from a basement window after all. usually increasing volatility near a low is indicative of a bottom, just as the increasing NDX volatility near the high was indicating a top. the question is, can these indices really move in opposite directions again for an extended period of time? that imo depends on how fast and far the NAZ declines... regards, hb
