Peter, i have no idea...except that obviously rotation is alive and well and has gotten even more extreme. luckily i have selectively nibbled on some dogs lately...you can't fall far from a basement window after all.
usually increasing volatility near a low is indicative of a bottom, just as the increasing NDX volatility near the high was indicating a top. the question is, can these indices really move in opposite directions again for an extended period of time? that imo depends on how fast and far the NAZ declines...
