RESEARCH ALERT-Gruntal ups Micron Tech
NEW YORK, March 16 (Reuters) - Gruntal said on Thursday it upgraded its intermediate rating on semiconductor maker Micron Technology Inc. (NYSE:MU - news) to outperformer from hold.

-- Said DRAM prices starting to improve, demand increasing.

-- Company scheduled to report second quarter results on March 21.

-- Micron Tech shares closed at 113-1/8 on Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange.

micron is denying knowledge that their product was defective in dell units. maybe it wasn't micron... where did mu's name come up as the source of dell's problems?
